Positive: Le principe, vraiment sympa.

Negative: ?

We enjoyed our stay and got to chat a little with the owner who is very nice. Positive: It was nice and secluded. The view was beautiful and the stars at night were very clear. It was very close to town. Negative: The windows were taped in some places obstructing the view a little. I believe the owner was working on a solution to fix the windows. It can get pretty cold in the tent. We definitely needed the heater.

Amazing views, spectacular moon rise and shooting stars Positive: The location is really beautiful and the sunset and moonrise we saw was exceptional! It was extremely windy on the day we arrived so we watched the moonrise from inside and it was really pretty! We saw shooting stars at night and tons of stars in the sky. I loved waking up in the morning and watching the sunrise and sitting on the rocks and being in solitude. We would come back, yet we hope the unit is cleaner, as far as the bedspread, blankets and chairs had some dirt/stain damage to them. When we arrived the plexiglass to the dome was scratched and taped up on numerous locations which effected the views during the day- the owner said he is in the process of getting the plexiglass fixed in unit 7. The shower was fantastic and stayed very warm for both of our showers. This was a good experience for our 1st Glamping experience & we will do this again for sure & we look forward to checking out other locations across the Southwest.

Great location, would recommend. However, Monticello is limited if you want to eat out. Positive: The Dome itself was well equipped, very comfortable and warm, but with a very small kitchen if you want to grill and prepare a meal. Plastic silverware and paper/plastic plates. A nice touch would have been proper silverware and heavy duty plastic plates. Our friends had the adjoining dome with spectacular veiws and table and chairs in front of the dome. Our dome faced towards the mountains with limited views due to high brush. We were unable to clearly see sunrise/sunset. The outside seating and grill were at the side of the dome. We used the exterior of our friends dome so this wasn't a problem for us, but we would have been disappointed had we been on our own. On a side note, Monticello is very small with limited eateries and stores. Negative: Liked everything. However, construction work was ongoing due to expansion. Unfortunately, on leaving we damaged the underside of our vehicle in a large pothole caused by the construction. Subsequently cost us $1000 in repairs when we got home.
