Blue Mountain Dome 5 | Luxury Glamping Dome in Monticello, UT (Near Canyonlands)

If you are only going to be there after sunset, it’s a nice experience. Positive: Bed was super comfy. Dome was very clean & spacious. Swing chairs in dome tent a nice touch. Could relax after sunset in them. Could see the blue mountains from the dome over the trees. The domes were next to each other but tucked back into the juniper trees. It was quiet & peaceful. Bathroom was functional & clean & towels were provided. Negative: Dome was an oven in afternoon sun. AC available but didn’t help much. Air outside was cool & comfortable but no way to let breeze inside- no zip windows for ventilation- just a door. No chairs available to sit outside while waiting for dome to cool down. 1 of 3 nights we had neighbors & they were right next door while dome’s farther away were unoccupied- would have been nice to have spaced us out. Sink in bathroom was a rusty bucket. Trim & flooring completely missing by the bathroom door. Hole in wall was bigger than electrical outlet cover. I’m sure the owners were going for a rustic look, but the bathroom needs some work to be finished. For a WOW experience I would expect a nicer bathroom, a place to chill outside your own dome tent, and someone checking in on our stay- to see how it’s going- even if it was only a text.

Expérience au calme dans la nature. Positive: L'emplacement est idéal, au milieu de la nature, entourés de biches. C'était très calme et apaisant. Negative: Pas grand chose si ce n'est la propreté des équipements pour le barbecue.

Great Getaway Positive: Just outside Monticello is a great location. Very quiet and we saw bunnies and deer.

Positive: The night sky is beautiful without the light pollution. Instructions were clear and simple to follow. Negative: Bathrooms are a short walk from the dome, but they are heated, the path has low lighting, and this is glamping right?

Stay here Positive: Great place to enjoy the mountians! Negative: We didn't stay long enough!!! and the weather
